NYPD were called to the report of a shooting at corner of East 58th Street and Linden Boulevard in East Flatbush on March 31st at approximately 7:45pm.

20-year-old Jenna Ellis was stuck multiple times in the driver seat and is undergoing surgery, 12-year-old Kade Lewin was fatally fruck in the passenger seat and an 8-year-old girl was unharmed in the backseat. Police said the boy was struck several times.

Police said Jenna Ellis, the victim’s cousin is still recovering from being shot in the jaw and stomach.

The victim’s lived in the area, and police are still trying to determine if their vehicle was the intended target, however, NYPD said they believe it was a case of mistaken identity. Police said two black sedans were seen fleeing the scene but did not give any suspect information.
