NYPS said 13-year-old Troy Gill, was alone when he was shot on New York and Bergen avenues in Crown Heights at approximately 10:40 p.m. on February 29th after returning home from a Nets game.

Gill was rushed to  Kings County Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.

Investigators believe his death is linked to the Trench Crew gang.

No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
