14-year-old Julian Corniell fatally stabbed in Queens

Police responded to a stabbing at the McDonald’s restaurant located at 38th Street and Queens Boulevard on February 14th at approximately 3:30pm.

Police and paramedics arrived to find Julian Corniell, 14, suffering from multiple stab wounds to the torso. He was rushed to Weill Cornell Medical Center where he was pronounced deceased.

Investigators said the teen was involved in an altercation with several other teens when the stabbing occurred.

The NYPD revealed that a 14-year-old boy, whose identity is being kept private because of his age, has been charged with first-degree gang assault in connection to the case. More charges could follow depending on the outcome of the ongoing investigation.
