The NYC 2022 Homicide Victim List is available here

NYPD were called to the report of a shooting on Ogden Avenue near West 170th Street in Highbridge on May 10th at approximately 8:15pm.

According to reports, the victim 17-year-old Jason Perez was inside a bodega with his girlfriend when five men entered. Perez left the store and was followed by the group. Perez was punched by a male who was waiting outside and then shot in the chest.

Perez was taken to Lincoln Medical Center, where he was pronounced deceased. As a result of the investigation, police announced that they have charged a 15-year-old with murder and manslaughter.
