The NYPD is searching for a suspect involved in a shooting that killed a 15-year-old and injured a 16-year-old in Brooklyn.

On January 28. At 3:33 p.m., police responded to a report of shots fired at 80 East 93rd St. Upon arrival, they found 15-year-old Heath Campbell, suffering from a gunshot wound to the head in the building’s lobby. The teen was rushed to hospital where he was later pronounced deceased. A second teen, a 16-year-old was found with a shoulder wound on the third floor and was hospitalized in stable condition.

Authorities are still investigating the incident, but no arrests have been made, and the motive is unclear. Residents in the area expressed concern about youth activity in the neighborhood.
