NYPD said 66-year-old William Alcindor was shot while driving past an alleyway in the area of 117-13 Farmers Blvd on September 16th, at around 5:00pm.

He was rushed to  Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

A 15-year-old boy was arrested and charged. Police will not be releasing his identity.
