Police were called to a shooting at 508 East 162 St. in Melrose on June 17 at around 9:08 p.m.

On arrival police located 16-year-old Alberto Roque suffering from a gunshot wound to the head. He was rushed to NYC Health and Hospitals/Lincoln where he died of his injuries on June 18th.

No arrests have been made. Anyone with information can call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS.
