NYPD were called to the report of a shooting in front of the Jackie Robinson School on May 10th at approximately 8:30pm.

On arrival police and paramedics located 16-year-old Claudia Quaatey, in an SUV, suffering from a gunshot wound to her head. She was rushed to hospital where she was placed in a medically induced coma, however, she ultimately died of her injuries.

A gofundme campaign has been created to help the family with funeral costs.

Police said the shooting was sparked by a fight at the park and have released an image of three persons of interest.

No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
