16-year-old girl fatally shot outside a Bronx school

NYPD responded to a shot spotter activation near Bronx Career and College Preparatory High School on May 12th at approximately 5:00pm.

On arrival police located a 16-year-old girl suffering from a gunshot wound to her head. She was rushed to Lincoln Hospital, where she died of her injuries.

According to police, the girl’s death is believed to have been caused by a fight between two boys on the school grounds.

Police are searching for the 14-year-old Male Suspect.
