O’Shae Sibley  was fatally stabbed at a gas station in what is believed to be a hate crime. It has been reported that Sibley was gassing up, and dancing to a Beyoncé song on July 29th when a group of men started shouting anti-gay slurs at Sibley and his friends.

An argument escalated resulting in a 17-year-old fatally stabbing Sibley.

Police announced on August 4th that the 17-year-old suspect has turned himself in and has been charged with murder as a hate crime and criminal possession of a weapon.
