The NYC 2023 Homicide Victim List is available here

NYPD were called to a shooting outside of 2971 Frederick Douglass Blvd Polo Ground Houses on June 28th at approximately 4:00pm.

On arrival police located 17-year-old Trequan Wingfield, suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest. Wingfield was rushed to Harlem Hospital, where he died of his injuries.

The suspect has been described as wearing all blue, possibly a tracksuit, and he fled the scene southbound on Eighth Avenue.

Update Police arrested a 16-year-old boy on June 30th. He is facing charges of murder and criminal possession of a weapon.
