The NYC 2023 Homicide Victim List is available here

NYPD were called to the report of a shooting in the area of Madison Avenue and East 132nd Street on April 8th at approximately 4:40pm.

On arrival police located 19-year-old Jaylen Duncan suffering from a gunshot wound to the head. He was rushed to Harlem Hospital where he died of his injuries.

No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.

Messiah Nantwi, 21 has been charged with the murder of 19-year-old Jaylen Duncan in Harlem on April 8th. Police said the victim’s and accused were not known to eachother. Nantwi was tracked down by the NYPD through a CrimeStoppers tip, and he was also charged with murder and criminal possession of a weapon in relation to the homicide of Brandon Brunson.
