21-year-old man fatally shot on the Cross Bronx Expressway

NYPD said a shooting occurred in the area of Exit 1B and the Alexander Hamilton Bridge on November 24th at approximately 5:49 a.m.

Police said two 21-year-old victims were riding in a 2010 Toyota Corolla driven by a 27-year-old man.  Investigators said an unidentified suspect opened fire hitting the 21-year-old victims.

The driver took the victims to hospital where the male victim died of a gunshot wound to his head. The second victim was a woman who sustained a gunshot wound to her shoulder. She is expected to survive.
