NYPD responded to a 911 call about an unconscious man, on the 4 train at the Union Square station at approximately 4:02 a.m. on June 17th.
Police and paramedics arrived to find the victim with stab wounds about the torso. The victim Tavon Silver, 32, was rushed to Bellevue Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
Update
Claude White, 33, of no fixed address, was arrested Monday, June 19th at around 5:15 p.m, and charged with the murder of Tavon Silver. According to reports White was charged earlier this month in a Manhattan bank robbery.
