33-year-old man shot and then run over in the Bronx

NYPD said the victim was walking along Kelly St. near Westchester Ave. at about 8:15 a.m. on October 15th when a man in a vehicle opened fire. The suspect made a U-turn, and ran him over before fleeing the scene.

The 33-year-old victim was rushed to Lincoln Hospital, where he died a few hours later.

No arrests have been made at this time. Anyone with information in regard to this incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) 

Update December 2
A 17-year-old has been charged with murder. 19-year-old Jovant Erazo has also been arrested and charged with murder, vehicular manslaughter and three counts of assault in the case.
