The NYC 2022 Homicide Victim List is available here

NYPD were called to 275 Liberty Ave. in Broadway Junction on August 28th at approximately 5:12 am on the report of a shooting.

Police and EMS arrived to find a 44-year-old woman, suffering from a gunshot wound to the head. She was rushed to Brookdale Hospital, where she died of her injuries. Her identity is being withheld pending next of kin notification.

According to reports, the victim was involved in a verbal dispute with a woman before being shot. The suspect fled the scene in a black Nissan Murano SUV with a paper license plate.

No arrests have been made.
