The NYC 2022 Homicide Victim List is available here

NYPD were called to the report of a shooting near the corner of Dyckman Street and Vermilyea Avenue at approximately 11:31 a.m on December 26th.

On arrival police and paramedics located Valeria Ortega, 64, suffering from a gunshot wound to her head. She was rushed to Harlem Hospital, where she was pronounced deceased.
