NYPD responded to a 911 call from a home aide worker who discovered Eugene Reba, 72, suffering stab wounds at home in the 1200 block of Richmond Avenue at around 10:40 a.m on November 14th.

Police said Reba, was located unconscious in his bed with multiple stab wounds to the torso. He was declared deceased at the scene.

Update December 9
Seneca Morciglio, 44, turned himself in on December 3rd and was arrested for the murder of Reba. Morciglio was charged with murder, assault, criminal possession of a weapon and tampering with physical evidence. Police do not know what the relationship between the victim and the accused was, or what the motive may have been.
