72-year-old man fatally beaten by his cousin in his Brooklyn Apartment

NYPD responded to a 911 call at an apartment on Kosciuszko Street near Tompkins Avenue on June 30th at approximately 4:30am.

On arrival police located a 72-year-old man unconscious in a bed suffering from head trauma. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The victim’s 60-year-old cousin was arrested at the scene and taken into custody. Police said charges are pending.
