The NYC 2022 Homicide Victim List is available here

NYPD said they responded to the report of a stabbing on September 29th at approximately 2:10 p.m., at the corner of 20th Avenue and 41st Street.

The victim Alison Russo-Elling, was getting a meal close to an EMS station that she was working at when she was stabbed several times. Russo-Elling was rushed to Mount Sinai Queens where she succumbed to her injuries. 

Peter Zisopoulos, 34, was arrested at19-80 41st St. after he locked himself in his third-floor apartment. The Hostage Negotiation Team and Emergency Service Unit managed to get Zisopoulos to exit his unit and he was taken into police custody, and is facing charges of murder and criminal possession of a weapon.
