Police responded to a stabbing on a J90 shuttle bus on May 11th at approximately 2:30pm in the area of at Crescent Street and Cypress Place.

Police said Alvin Francis, 41, was located on the bus suffering from multiple stab wounds to the abdomen. He was rushed to Francis to Brookdale Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.

Investigators suspect that a verbal argument escalated into the deadly stabbing.

Update: Kareem McCalla was arrested on May 13th and charged with second-degree murder and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon.
