Carlos Garcia charged with manslaughter after an altercation with Heriberto Quintana, that resulted in him being struck by a subway train

NYPD said a fight erupted after Carlos Garcia, 50, and 48-year-old Heriberto Quintana, accidentally bumped into each other at the Roosevelt Avenue-Jackson Heights subway station on October 17th at approximately 4:45pm.

During the fight Garcia allegedly punched Quintana in the face, causing him to fall onto the tracks, where he was hit by the train. Quintana was rushed to NYC Health + Hospitals/Elmhurst, where he was pronounced deceased.

As a result of the investigation Carlos Garcia, 50, was charged with second-degree manslaughter and second-degree assault.
