NYPD said 35-year-old Cleveland Smith was chased into a bodega on East 175th Street near Eastburn Avenue by two men on a scooter on October 1st.

One of the suspects opened fire into the bodega, striking Smith in the chest. He was taken to Saint Barnabas Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
