Update: Raad Almansoori arrested in Scottsdale, Ariz – Denisse Oleas-Arancibia found dead in a luxury SOHO hotel

NYPD were called to the report of a deceased woman at Soho 54, located at 54 Watts St., at approximately 10:30 a.m. on February 8th, after being alerted by hotel staff.

Paramedics pronounced her dead at the scene, and her body was transferred to the Medical Examiner’s office for an autopsy to determine the cause of death. According to abc7nyc, “Oleas-Arancibia suffered a cut to the head that detectives believe could be from blunt force trauma. A bloody iron was discovered next to her.”

Investigators said a pair of bloody pants with a receipt were located inside her hotel room. Police are looking for the owner of the pants.

An autopsy was performed and the medical examiner said the cause of death was compression to her neck and blunt head trauma.

Update Chief Kenny of the NYPD said “We have video of the woman arriving at the location, wearing a distinct pair of leggings. And later on, we have a male leaving the hotel wearing the same leggings.”

Investigators believe the assailant switched pants with the victim as his pants were found at the scene covered in blood.

Update: According to reports Raad Almansoori was arrested in Scottsdale, Ariz., when he was accused of stabbing a woman working at a McDonald’s restaurant on Feb 18th. According to reports he followed the employee into the bathroom and stabbed her in the neck. She underwent surgery and is in stable condition.

Investigators believe Almansoori is also responsible for stabbing a woman on Feb 17th in Phoenix, during an attempted robbery.

Police said Oleas-Arancibia who had been working as an escort had communicated with Mr. Almansoori over the phone. Investigators say she was killed between the afternoon of Feb. 7 and 10:30 a.m. Feb. 8.

Almansoori is being held in Maricopa County jail without bond.
