NYPD responded to the report of a foul odor coming from an apartment unit of Donald Wallace, 75, on W. 23rd St. on February 16th at approximately 5:15pm.

On arrival police located 75-year-old Donald Wallace already in a state of decomposition. Investigators said he suffered blunt-force trauma to the head. 

According to reports Wallace served 20 years in state prison for a murder back in 1972, He was also convicted of robbery, weapon possession and grand larceny, and he was paroled in 1992.

Wallace also survived a kidnapping and stabbing that occurred in 2016.
