NYPD responded to a shooting on January 12th at approximately 12:55 p.m at 837 Utica Ave.

On arrival police located 25-year-old Johanci Chapman inside a Dollar Van, suffering from a gunshot wound to his arm. He was rushed to hospital where he died of his injuries.

Police have not said if there were any customers on board at the time of the shooting. Investigators believe a heated dispute between two dollar van drivers may have been the trigger for the shooting.

Police said the suspect fled the scene in a white van.

Update: On February 5th police released a photo of a suspect.
