Dorothy Clarke-Rozier fatally stabbed in Brooklyn

Police and paramedics responded to the area of Albany Ave. near Glenwood Rd on February 6th. According to reports 50-year-old Dorothy Clarke-Rozier was on her way to work, and cut through a parking lot on Albany Ave at approximately 5:50 a.m. when she was attacked.

The woman initally thought she was attacked with a stick, however, paramedics discovered that she was stabbed in the back. Dorothy Clarke-Rozier was rushed to Kings County Hospital where she died of her injuries.

The victim had picked up an extra shift at the supermarket Pathmark after a co-worker called out sick. She managed to get to her manager at the store before collapsing onto the pavement, the knife sticking from her back.

Update January 8th
Anthony Wilson, 34, was arrested and charged with murder and criminal possession of a weapon. According to The Daily News, law enforcement source says the stabbing was the random work of a “lunatic” who admitted to drinking and smoking before the stabbing.
