Police responded to the report of a stabbing at the intersection of 69th Street and Roosevelt Avenue on September 19th at 2:43 a.m.

Police and EMS arrived to find 55-year-old Freddy Jimenez suffering from a stab wound to his torso.  Jimenez was rushed to NYC Health & Hospitals in Queens, where he was pronounced deceased.

According to police, the shirtless assailant fled on foot eastbound along Roosevelt Avenue. No arrests have been made at this time. Anyone with information regarding the deadly stabbing can call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS.

Update Olmedo Osorio, has been arrested and is facing charges of murder and criminal possession of a weapon.
