The NYC 2023 Homicide Victim List is available here

NYPD were called to a shooting at 3836 Carpenter Ave on December 20th at approximately 3:30 am.

On arrival police located 34-year-old Hector David with a gunshot wound to the left side of his torso. David was rushed to NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi, where doctors pronounced him deceased. 

Update: On Jan. 10, NYPD announced that Daniel Santos, was arrested in connection with the shooting and charged with murder, manslaughter and two counts of criminal possession of a weapon.
