NYPD responded to a 911 of a shooting inside a bodega at 4052 White Plains Road on June 19th at approximately 12:03pm.

On arrival police located Howard Ferguson, 48, suffering from a gunshot wound to the back. Ferguson was rushed to NYC Health & Hospitals/Jacobi where he was pronounced deceased.

Oriean Dorsett, 32, was arrested on June 19, at 10.01 p.m. He was charged with murder, manslaughter, and two counts of criminal possession of a weapon.
