Update: Victim Identified – Human leg was discovered in a trash bin in Queens

NYPD were called to the report of a human leg behind the TD bank, at 164th Street and Union Turnpike in Hillcrest on September 20th at 6.30pm.

Police arrived to find the leg in a blue trash container next to a dumpster. Police said the bin has been sent to the Chief Medical Examiner’s office for further investigation. Police have not released the gender or extent of the decomp at this time.

Update November 2
Police have identified the deceased as Asliddin Rakhmonov, 29, who lived on 165th Street. The Chief Medical Examiner said that the victim was killed by blunt force trauma to the head.
