NYPD responded to Starrett City apartment on Brooklyn on May 28th at approximately 7:40am, where they located James Keitt, 58, unresponsive suffering from bruises to his face. He was pronounced deceased at the scene by paramedics.

Investigators discovered that Kitt had been involved in a dispute with a tenant when he was punched. Kitt went back to his unit to sleep it of and ultimately lost consciousness.

No arrests have been made at this time.
