NYPD responded to a shooting at 11:07 p.m. on April 1st at a home located on the 3400 block of Mickle Avenue. According to police the victim’s wheelchair bound mother called 911 when she heard a bang from upstairs.

On arrival police located Jessica Hoyle, 31, with a gunshot wound to her head.

Police said they are looking for Hoyle’s boyfriend who fled the scene on foot.
