NYPD were alerted of a shooting at 673 Hunts Point Ave on Sept. 24, at approximately 11:57pm.

On arrival police located Jose Alvarado, 45, suffering from a gunshot wound to the head near Club W. According to reports Three unidentified males approached Alvarado after he parked near the strip club and exited his vehicle. The suspects robbed Alvarado, during the robbery, one of the suspects shot Alvarado. The victim was rushed to Lincoln Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.

Police said the suspects fled the scene in the Alvarado’s gray SUV. No arrests have been made at this time. Anyone with information regarding the murder can call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS.
