NYPD responded to a shooting near 181 East 32nd St. on December 9th at approximately 4:06 p.m.

Police and EMS arrived to find 28-year-old Jumaane Williams (not the activist and politician with the same name), suffering from a gunshot wound to his head. He was pronounced deceased by EMS.

Two male suspects were seen fleeing on foot southbound along East 32nd Street. Police said one of the suspects had a dark complexion and wearing a red bubble jacket, a black sweatshirt, black jeans, and sneakers. The other also had a dark complexion and wore a gray sweatshirt and black jeans.
