NYPD were conducting a wellness check on D’Asia Johnson, 22, when they located her remains in several suitcases and a bloody meat cleaver inside a Linwood St apartment. Police said the remains were located inside the bathroom of unit 6F.

The victim’s former boyfriend Justin Williams, 24, was arrested on November 7th and charged with murder and concealment of a human corpse. According to reports Williams stabbed Johnson nine times, before dismembering her and masking the odor with towels and cleaning products.
