NYPD were called to a stabbing near the corner of East Broadway and Pike Street at about 8:07 a.m. on Nov. 7th.

On arrival police located Kan Shing Cheung, 68, suffering from stabbing injuries. He was pronounced at the scene.

Shichun Lin, 58, of Bristol, TN was arrested and charged with first- and second-degree murder. Police said it is unclear if the victim and accused were known to each other.
