Police were called to the report of an assault at 1:30 a.m. on October 8th,  in front of 778 Franklin Ave.

On arrival police and EMS located Kerwin Cox, 35, suffering from a stab wound to his torso. He was rushed to Interfaith Medical Center, where he died of his injuries.
