Police responded to a shooting at 976 Simpson St on June 19th just after 11:00pm.

On arrival police and paramedics located Kevin Roberts, 56, unconscious and unresponsive, suffering from gunshot wounds to the torso. Roberts was rushed to NYC Health & Hospitals/Jacobi where he died of his injuries.
