Lamar Brown fatally shot in a Washington Heights Apartment lobby

NYPD responded to a 911 call where they located Lamar Brown, 44, unresponsive in the lobby of an apartment located at 501 West 176th St.

Brown was rushed to New York-Presbyterian Hospital, with a bullet wound to the stomach. Despite life saving efforts Lamar Brown dies of his injuries.

Police said Brown lived on the third floor of the building where he was shot. no arrests have been made at this time.

Update January 21st:
NYPD is searching for three men who walked away from the scene. They are wanted for questioning in relation to the murder of Lamar Brown.

NYPD released photos of three men sought for questioning about a homicide in Washington Heights on Sunday.
