NYPS were called to the report of a shooting at a home on Louisiana Avenue, on November 17th at approximately 6:58 p.m.

On arrival, police located Rosa Acevedo, 43, and Gustavo Devora Acevedo, 26, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Rosa was pronounced at the scene and Gustavo was rushed to Brookdale University Hospital, where he died of his injuries on November 18th.

The firearm was recovered from the crime scene.

Luis Collado, 52, was arrested and faces two counts of murder as well as attempted murder and criminal possession of a weapon.
