NYPD were called to a shooting at 224 Willis Avenue at around 8:30 p.m. on May 10th. Officers from the 40th Precinct arrived to find a 30-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the chest and a 42-year-old woman shot in the leg.

Emergency responders transported both victims to Lincoln Hospital. The man was later pronounced dead; his identity has not yet been released as authorities work to notify his family. The woman is in stable condition.
