Bronx drill rapper Nasir Valenzuela arrested and charged with the murder of Idressa Siby in Times Square

NYPD were called to a shooting near Times square in the area of West 44th Street and 8th Avenue on February 9th at approximately 5:37pm.

Police said the victim, 22-year-old Idressa Siby was located about a block away from where the shooting occurred suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest.

Siby was rushed to a Mount Sini West hospital where he died of his injuries. Police have not released the victim’s identity, only saying he wasn’t a tourist.

Update March 10th
Nasir Valenzuela, 19, was arrested in New Jersey on March 10th, in connection to the murder of 22-year-old Idressa Siby. Valenzuela is being transferred back to Midtown and faces a charge of second degree murder.
