Man Fatally Stabbed Inside Upper West Side Housing Complex; NYPD Investigating

Pilice responded to a 911 call about an assault in progress at the Frederick Douglass Houses, located at 140 West 104th Street, just before midnight on April 18.

When police arrived, they found a 40-year-old man with multiple stab wounds to his neck. He was quickly taken to Mount Sinai Morningside Hospital by EMS, but sadly, he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.

The victim’s identity has not been released as authorities work to notify his family. So far, no arrests have been made, and the investigation remains ongoing.
