A female relative of Wright went to the 81st Precinct and provided police with information about his apparent death, on February 7th.
NYPD believes Martin Wright had been killed inside the townhouse where his older brother McMillian Wright had lived, in the 700 block of Monroe Street at approximately 5 a.m. on Jan. 28. It has been said that Martin Wright had suffered blunt force trauma to the head.
Police said McMillian Wright and a friend Craig Smith, then moved the body of Martin to an unknown location. Martin Wright’s body has not been located.
McMillian Wright was arrested on March 27 in the city of Binghamton, and has been charged with murder. Craig Smith was arrested on April 13, and charged with concealment of a corpse and tampering with physical evidence.

Update May 13
Police said the body of Martin Wright was located by a walker who noticed something sticking out of the ground in Mohegan Park in Norwich, on May 7th. Since locating the remains, the victim’s brother has since been charged with criminal possession of a loaded gun, concealment of a human corpse, tampering with physical evidence, possessing a forged instrument and falsifying business records, as well as the previous murder charge.
