NYPD responded to the area of East 132nd Street and Madison Avenue at about 12:19 p.m. on March 17th on the report of a stabbing.

On arrival police located 47-year-old Michael Smith, suffering from multiple stab wounds to his body. Smith was rushed to Harlem Hospital, where he died of his injuries.

Police said the suspect was wearing army green camouflage clothing. No arrests have been made. Anyone with information can call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS.
