NYPD responded to the report of a stabbing at a home on Blythe Place on April 24th at approximately 10:15pm.

Police arrived to find Xiao-Qiong Jing, 62, deceased. Police originally believed that Jing stabbed her husband and son before killing herself. Investigators were able to talk to the couple’s injured son with the help of a Mandarin translator. The interview determined the Ming Chen was the alleged aggressor.

As a result of the investigation, Ming Chen, 71, was arrested and charged with the murder of his wife
