Police responded to a woman in need of assistance at 160-46 121st Ave on March 29th at 9:24 a.m.

On arrival police located  61-year-old Natalie Coggins unresponsive suffering from a gunshot wound to her head. She was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Her son, 36-year-old Dashawn Coggins, was arrested at the scene and charged with murder and criminal possession of a weapon.
