Nazim Berry fatally shot outside of his work at the Crown Heights’ Amin Deli

NYPD were called to a shooting at Crown Heights’ Amin Deli at around 4:15 p.m. on February 26th.

On arrival police located Nazim Berry, 37, lying near the shop with a severe head wound. He was rushed to NYC Health and Hospitals/Kings County where he died of his injuries.

According to reports Berry was killed because he wouldn’t give a customer a free cigar.

The suspect was described as wearing a black jacket, white sneakers and black jeans. Police are offering a reward of $3,500, while the Bodega Workers of America are also offering an additional $10,000, for information that could lead to the arrest of the suspect.
