NYPD said Simon Beverly, 74, was found dead at 560 West 151st Street, on January 19th at approximately 6am.

Investigators said Beverly was unconscious and unresponsive with a stab wound to his torso. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Nehemiah Terry-Peterson was taken into custody and later charged following questioning.
